ABOUT ME

Hi there!

I'm Taylor Beckmann (short for a much longer name that we could chat about over a matcha another time), and before I decided to become a professional actor I moved around quite a bit.  Growing up, I traveled with my mom and my brother on his journey with the USA National Surf Team, I was never more than ten minutes from a beach.  However, the theatre was always my sanctuary, I began my training at age seven at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, Florida and haven't stopped since. I was so sure that this was my calling that I convinced my mom to send me off to Walnut Hill School for the Arts boarding school in my Junior year of high school. Now I am proud to say that I have graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre and an Emphasis in Dance from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee.  I pinch myself everyday and am shocked that I am living the life of a working artist and get to create breathtaking and important art with such talented human beings.
